OPUS, Latin for “work,” speaks to the deliberate process of shaping a material by hand until it takes form.
Inspired by the idea of the body as a canvas for art, the OPUS set brings together draping, metal, and movement in a sculptural composition.
Like an artist shaping fabric directly onto marble, the piece creates the impression of material sculpted onto the body. Organic metal details hold each element in place, almost like jewels seamlessly integrated into the structure.
The marks of the creative process remain visible: in the rich gathers, the openings formed by the natural tension of the fabric, and the glimpses of skin between one shape and another.
Although designed as a dress, the top and skirt can also be worn separately. Together or apart, the pieces invite endless new interpretations and combinations.
